A leadership experience inspired by the orchestra — where performance, presence, and deep listening transform how people work together.

Cellist. Conductor.
Peacebuilder.
Diego Carneiro is a Brazilian cellist, conductor, and Rotary Peace Fellow whose work sits at the intersection of music, leadership, and human connection.
He is the founder of AmazonArt Foundation and the Youth Orchestra of Ecuador, where music serves as a practical tool for building bridges between communities, cultures, and generations.
Orchestrating Teams grew from a simple observation: the principles that make an orchestra extraordinary — deep listening, shared vision, trust, and responsiveness — are the same principles that make great leadership possible.
Diego Carneiro brings that understanding into boardrooms, conference halls, and leadership retreats around the world.
The orchestra as a
living model of leadership
In an orchestra, every musician must listen deeply, respond in real time, and align with a shared vision. Leadership is not only about directing — it is about presence, awareness, and the ability to create space for others to perform at their best.
Through live performance and guided interaction, participants experience how the principles that shape great musical ensembles can transform the way teams communicate, collaborate, and lead.
Music becomes both a powerful metaphor and a practical lens for understanding how individuals can perform at their best while contributing to something unified — something greater than the sum of its parts.
Participants don't just
watch — they experience
Each Orchestrating Teams program combines live cello performance, storytelling, and interactive leadership exploration. The result is something participants carry long after the event ends.
Programs are carefully crafted to respond to the event, the audience, and the organizational context. No two experiences are the same.
Formats range from a 20-minute keynote to a half-day leadership journey. Each one is designed in direct conversation with the people it will serve.
